The Abu Garcia Revo MGX® Spinning Reel, redesigned in 2019, offers a compact and lightweight design tailored for discerning anglers. It features a unique X-Mag magnesium alloy one-piece gear box, ensuring super-lightweight performance without compromising on strength. The reel incorporates a carbon reinforced bail arm for reduced weight alongside premium aluminum machined gears for excellent durability and gear feel.

Key features include a 10+1 HPCR™ (High Performance Corrosion Resistant) bearing system for smooth operation and corrosion resistance. The AMGearing™ system and computer optimized gear design enhance efficiency and performance. The Carbon Matrix™ drag system ensures consistent drag pressure.

Other notable features of the Revo MGX® include a C6 carbon body and rotor, Rocket Line Management™ and Rocket Spool Lip Design™ for improved line control, a compact bent carbon handle with an ergonomic EVA knob for comfort, and a machined aluminum braid-ready spool.
